 I opened the document as a smart object and applied motion blur effect. after that i used the soft edge tool to unblur the train.

I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the area I wanted to change (hair) and used the paint brush to paint the hair brown.

 

 

18.

I converted the new layer to smart filters. then using the Gaussian blur effect i blurred it to my liking and added a layer mask. using the soft brushed tool, i brushed the blur off of areas i want to be noticed.

2nd marking period

 

15a: picking a picture of the flag we wanted to use, and of a brick wall. We opened a new docment and merged the two pictures onto it. Then we changed the blending mode to hard light. We then duplicated the brick layer. in order to desaturate it, we placed the brick layer above the flag layer. Then I clicked the flag layer distrot>displace, and saved it. Then I opened it and changed the blending mode to hard light on the brick wall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

15b:

 

Using a selfie, and the flag I opened a new document and merged the flag and my face onto the new document. I repeated the same steps except this time I had to clean the edges. I used the eraser and I deleted the flag from my hair, eyes, and lips.

11. Flyer

I looked for a picture that was related to science and then i used the magnetic lasso tool to take the area i wanted out and put it on a different layer. Then I stamped and changed the blending options to add shadows the starts and words.

Using a plain photo of an outfit, I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the area i wanted the print on. then I copy merged the layer. Then i opened the texture file and used the move tool to put it on my dress. I clipped the layers and then lowered the opacity of the texture and played with the different effects.

By using the magnetic lasso tool I selected the area I wanted to change (potato chips) and I inserted the apples. then applying text box I wrote my slogan. The NYC FOOD BANK Logo was used solely for educational purpose. No Copy Right infringement was intended.

 

 

 

 

 

 

14. I created a new document with dimensions of 1280px by 1024px. with the picture of a pumpkin open, I used the magnetic lasso tool to remove the background. Then i put the pumpkin in the new document i created and added an inner glow. by using the pen tool and brush tool, I created the feautres of the face.
